ABOUT ARTIST

Hi! My name is Lu.

I'm currently 17 years old and live in upstate New York. I've enjoyed art since childhood, progressing slowly from coloring books to my favorite medium today, computer graphics.

I primarily work in Photoshop CS and Paint Shop Pro, although recently I have been trying to do more work in Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Flash due to their vector compatibility.

Because I took music electives in high school rather than art classes, I don't have a large amount of "real" art pieces to show off. This is why most of the works in this portfolio are computer graphics - it is a medium that I can easily do at home, as a hobby.

In my free time, I enjoy:

  • Reading books for fun
  • Cooking for my family
  • Playing the violin and piano
  • Learning new languages
  • Skiing, rock climbing and tennis
  • Programming scripts in PHP

    I think Digital Media Design would be the perfect program for me because it combines both my love for art and my skills in programming and problem solving.
